Go Ghana Go!
I kinda wish that I was doing my field work this year instead of last... just cuz then I would be in Ghana while the country is in chaos over the World Cup. Since Independence in 1957, Ghana has never made it into the finals of the Fifa World Cup. Last year, I was picking Geoff up from the Accra airport when Ghana beat Uganda to qualify for Germany 2006 at the top of their division. Scott was at the game in Kumasi and it must've been a crazy experience! There was lots of partying that night!
Ghana has a tough road ahead though. They are definitely the underdogs in group E which includes the USA, and the favourites Italy and the Czech Republic. Arguably they have the most difficult qualifying group and only the top 2 will move on.
But I will be cheering for the Black Stars and hoping that they can pull through and make it to the round of 16. GO GHANA GO!

That's such a weird one for ppl to get wrong but I know what you're saying. The variation I get the most is "definately".
