(Mis)adventures with computers

I'm so happy that all the computer disasters waited to occur after I finished writing my thesis. Still it's a little frustrating to deal with so many problems in 1 day. First, it looks like my laptop has succumbed to a virus or something. It just keeps crashing.

Then I went to work on one of the anth department computers (I'm working on revisions this week). Whenever I plugged in my USB key, the mouse stopped working. As soon as I got that fixed, then the keyboard stopped working... grrrrr.... We've replaced the keyboard and I managed to get my data off the computer and backed up on my e-mail address.

So I've put in maybe a couple hours of productive work today. I'm leaving early because I just can't deal with computers anymore.
