What Colour Are You? Blue, Gold, Green, or Orange?
Geoff took this interesting course about personality types and how each of these personality types like to be dealt with in social interactions. Geoff is a Blue-Green personality which is weird because they are opposites. My dominant personality colour is Gold but I could be a Blue-Orange tie on my second colour. So what colours are you?
Blue sees itself as: warm, caring, compassionate, romantic, spiritual, creative, idealistic, people person, willing to work tirelessly for a cause, unselfish, empathetic, affirming, expressive, caretaker, promoting growth and well being, social interaction experts, able to see need for exceptions, conscious of past relations, people pleaser, sympathetic, great communicator, trusting, wants harmony (i.e. Blue is a typical care-giver)
Others can see Blue as: over emotional, bleeding heart, mushy, other-worldly, flaky, unrealistic, too tender-hearted, easily duped, too touchy-feely, pathetic, too nice, naive, too trusting, smothering, teaching non-essentials, slick, manipulative, ignores policy, creates chaos, stuck in lives past, groveling, fawning, talks too much, obscures issues, whiny
Gold sees itself as: stable, provides security, dependable, firm, always has a view, efficient, realistic, decisive, executive type, good planner, orderly, neat, organized, very practical, goal oriented, finish what I start, good at sorting/weeding out, well prepared, can be counted on, very loyal, rule abiding (i.e. Gold is a typical manager and the most common personality type)
Others can see Gold as: rigid, controlling, dull, boring, opinionated, stubborn, system-bound, unimaginative, judgmental, bossy, inflexible, uptight, sets own agenda, rigid idea of time, end justifies the means, not able to multitask, throws away good items needlessly, predictable, either-or, one tracked
Green sees itself as: superior intellect, 98% right, tough-minded, efficient, powerful, creative, visionary, original, unique, reasonable, rational, calm, not emotional, under control, precise, not repetitive, able to find flaws, objective, task & goal focused, holding firm to policy, seeking justice, assuming things will be well done, great planner, firm-minded, able to reprimand (i.e. Green is a typical geek)
Others can see Green as: intellectual snob, arrogant, heartless, doesn't care about people and feelings, ruthless, unrealistic, eccentric, weird, ignores people's values, cold, aloof, unfeeling, afraid to open up, covers subject from all angles, critical and unfair, fault finding, not on my side, devaluing relational aspects, limited ability to see obvious differences, lacking mercy
Orange sees itself as: fun-loving, enjoying life, spontaneous, flexible, adaptable, carefree, proficient, capable, hands-on person, practical, problem-solver, good negotiator, here & now person, good at multitasking, resourceful, easily deals with chaotic situations, new ideas, superior ability to discriminate among many options, sees shades of grey, high energy, curious (i.e. Orange is a typical ambitious go-getter)
Others can see Orange as: irresponsible, flaky, wishy-washy, only spends time doing things they enjoy, not interested in ideas, indecisive, disobeys rules, manipulative, not to be trusted, turn off to past-oriented Blue and future-oriented Green, not able to stay on track, scattered, cluttered, uncontrollable, resists closure or decisions, always scrambling and winging it
Blue sees itself as: warm, caring, compassionate, romantic, spiritual, creative, idealistic, people person, willing to work tirelessly for a cause, unselfish, empathetic, affirming, expressive, caretaker, promoting growth and well being, social interaction experts, able to see need for exceptions, conscious of past relations, people pleaser, sympathetic, great communicator, trusting, wants harmony (i.e. Blue is a typical care-giver)

Hey there... I liked the colour post, I think that I have a lil bit of more than one colour though!
TOugh to judge yourself, but I would say I have ALOT of blue!
Nice Blog!!!
Haha! I think a mix of Gold and Orange, if that's possible.
Gold and Orange is definitely the rarest combination, but a very powerful one if you are. :) Cuz you'll be organized and ambitious all at the same time.
Mostly blue, a bit orange. I think that's pretty obvious. Too bad I pick up on the "others see you as" more than the "see yourself as"
Interesting Scott, I would've thought you would've been more green than anything.
