2 year anniversary
It's been 2 years since Geoff and I had our first date on Halloween Day 2004. And it's been 1 year since he proposed on Halloween Day 2005. Too bad we didn't get married today to keep things nice and consistent! It's hard to imagine that I've only known Geoff a little over 2 years! Sometimes it seems like I've known him forever...
This will probably be the last time we celebrate the "unofficial" anniversary. We had a nice relaxing day to celebrate - we slept in, watched "Love Actually", TAed at UCBDC in our matching African costumes (thanks to Fausti in Ghana who made them for us), and had a decadent dinner at Fiore's on 17th.

But having an anniversary on an already known day, makes it easier to remember :) My first date was on "white day".
What's "white day"?
Primarily a Japanese marketing gimmick.
Women give gifts and chocolates etc to men on valentines day. One month later on white day the men can give something in return.
