Happy New Year 2005!

Another crazy year gone... another crazy one to begin.

Geoff and I celebrated the New Year at Rundle with most of our dance friends. I even convinced my parents to come out too (for the first time in decades) and party a little! Besides, they need to practice some dance moves for their next cruise to Mexico. A combination of the cold weather and the events in Asia really dampened the mood this year. Even though there were fewer people than last, those who showed up had a great time. We got to see Maurgan and Brittany demo some dances with Dan - both of them were fantastic of course.

Now the real fun begins. I picked up the reader for the class I'm TAing (Anth 435 - evolutionary anthropology) and started reading. I'm trying to finish reading it in 1 week so the prep work for TAing will be out of the way before classes start. Unfortunately because I was sick when I got back from Africa I only took 1 course. Now, I have 4 graduate courses to take this semester! Wish me luck! I think I might be putting Geoff and my little brother Benjamin to work for me!
