Brooks Xmas Market

Geoff drove me to Brooks early on Sat morning so that Shanna and I could sell TVG crafts at the Xmas Craft Fair. It was lots of fun and we did a little better than at the first farmer's market in Brooks. We were also playing around with our "new" Nikon D50 SLR camera. :) So lovely having a nice digital SLR to replace my F55. In the end, we raised over $300 for TVG so it was a bit better than our last trip to Brooks.

Abandoning the stance that film is so superior to digital? :)

Well nope, I still think film cameras take better picture and have way better shutter speed, etc.. But there are some huge positives to digital cameras including not polluting the world with toxic chemicals used for developing film, avoiding huge cost of printing pictures, greater ability to learn about F-stops and aperture, etc.

I'm still keeping my F55 since I would probably only get $30 for it. It has way more sentimental value to me than that! I'll probably still use it in the future too.
