Three dresses

I have 3 different dresses for the wedding now! My aunt is making my white wedding dress and I'm flying to Vancouver/Nanaimo so I can get fitted in June. I hope it turns out well. We looked online and found one that everyone thought was just gorgeous so I sent the design to my aunt and we went out and bought the material. It was a relatively pain free way to find a dress. I guess the only thing I've missed is the whole process of going to a bridal boutique and standing on those raised platforms while someone dresses you in lots of pouffy white wedding gowns.

Mandy found the 2nd dress for me - a Chinese cheongsam. The plan is for me, my mom, and Geoff's mom to all wear cheongsams for the pictures. I think that would be so cool.

My 3rd dress is for the evening reception and for the first waltz. I found it while bridesmaid dress shopping at BCBG Max Azaria. I needed help from the saleswoman with all the straps, etc. but once we finally got it on right it was just gorgeous! It was the first dress I tried on. This dress was double the price of my other two dresses... combined! And it was on sale too! But it was worth it because I've always wanted to own something from BCBG and now I actually do. I hope no one wears the same dress as me to my own wedding!
