RIP dear friend
I've just laid to rest my dear friend, iPod. You have served me well.
My wheel got stuck down so I can't turn my iPod on anymore. It's going to be an arm and a leg to get the iPod replaced (250 USD) through Apple. Plus they just give you a new iPod so I'll lose all my music, etc. Sucks... May as well just buy a new one. I put so much time into organizing my iPod and now I'm going to have to do it all over again. Not to mention digging around for another $400 to buy a new one. On a positive note, I guess Ralph Klein's money couldn't have come at a better time. I was supposed to use it for paying for rent, but having my iPod back would be really nice too.
My last ditch effort will be taking a Swiss Army knife and trying to pry out the wheel to see what happens. I have nothing to lose now!

Ah iPod. But don't give up all hope just yet, perhaps some surgery can accomplish something, even if it's just saving some data. Probably you'll just screw the iPod even further, but considering its current state, you wouldn't be losing much!
