Family and friends
My aunt just went back to Nanaimo yesterday. She came to visit us while my parents were on holidays (Benji needed a baby-sitter I think!) in Mexico. We had such yummy food while my aunt was here. Especially the day she cooked Mexican food for us...
I don't think it was a coincidence that we had lots of friends coming over to visit us and enjoy my aunt's cooking. Jonathan's friend from Australia, Kate, came to stay with us for a few days. Such a sweet girl! She saw everything touristy to do in Calgary in 2 insanely busy days. Geoff and I took her to Maurgan's belated b-day party/Kata's going away party on Fri night. Then we sent her off dancing at Rundle with Geoff's roommate Renny. Her first time dancing too! I think she had a lot of fun!
This weekend was crazy busy as usual since I was trying to finish writing my proposal. It was technically due last Mon but I didn't even have time to look at it until this week. I managed to fit in some time to watch my piano students at their recital. They all did really well - I was so proud! All the other students at the recital were guitar students - Andrew also played for us. He's a young classical guitar teacher and wants to perform for a living. Amazing that he went from nothing to teacher/performer in less than 5 years!
