For all those creationists who don't believe in evolution by natural selection, here are 3 OBSERVABLE facts that exist in nature which make it possible for natural selection to operate.

1. inheritance - parents pass their genes to offspring

2. variability - natural selection operates on variation between different individuals

3. overproduction - more individuals are produced than will survive to reproduce themselves
