The hell that is school

Past 8:30 pm and still at my office at the UofC. Been here since before lunch. Had to skip dance tonight so I could get everything finished. So stressed out... at least I got everything accomplished on today's list. Submitted one of my scholarship applications, finished the other one (due on Mon and Tues), finished answering questions about Darwin's "Origin of Species".

At least I finished Darwin with Geoff's help. He had to cook for me and fill out my Animal Care Form (to get ethics approval for my research project) this weekend so I could read hundreds of pages of Darwin. Such an awesome boyfriend... don't know how I'd get through it without him...

I'm so jealous of Chi and Scott - Scott's nearly done his thesis so the two of them are taking off for Vietnam on Fri. And then my parents are going on a cruise to Mexico on Sun. I just have to pull through this semester and then I'll be back in Africa before you know it. If I can survive this semester... I can survive anything.

Now back to my grant proposal. First draft is due next week and I haven't even touched it yet! Wish me luck... I'm going to need it. Luck and beer! :)
