Phantom

I fulfilled one of my dreams which was to see Phantom of the Opera. We couldn't afford tickets to go see it when the show first came through Calgary years and years ago. But I vowed to myself that I would go this time. Thanks to Kim's friend and her Amex card, a bunch of us got third row seats on the floor! It was an amazing view of the stage!

All the singing was amazing!
The Phantom used to play Raoul and was an understudy for the Phantom. His voice was so good; way better than the Phantom in the recent movie version. Christine was excellent, Raoul was great, and I loved Carlotta. The sets were amazing and the special effects were... surprising. Well, they caught me off-guard! And of course, the music! Who doesn't love the music from Phantom?

I was just thrilled that I had the opportunity to see Phantom this time around. Geoff and I are headed to NYC for the latter part of our honeymoon and we're planning on going to see something on Broadway. Maybe the Lion King or the Producers...
