Stef and Henry's wedding

Geoff and I went to my friend Stefanie's wedding on Saturday. It was so much fun! Her wedding was so huge, over 400 people, mostly because Henry's family was really big. Both Stef and Henry held it together through the ceremony... I was betting that Henry would cry but he didn't. :)

At the dinner, we sat at the Western high school reunion table with Pam and Peter, Betty and Matt, Mandy and Howard, and Justine and Claudia. All of these people will be back next week for my wedding so that's pretty cool. The favours were little personalized magnets with their names and the date, Chinese characters, and words like "happiness" and "love" on them. So cute!

My friend Karen who happens to be Henry's cousin was one of the emcees for the night. I don't think she sat down for all of 5 mins the entire night because she had to run the wedding games throughout the night. The tinkling of the glasses to get the happy couple to kiss was incessant - it was seriously crazy! There were a couple cute wedding games that were played including Stef and Henry trivia, a kissing game, and the "shoe game".

The food at Regency was amazing. We had a 10 course Chinese banquet and there was sooo much food. I was in a lot of pain from overeating! Geoff and I absolutely loved the scallop in sweet soya sauce, it was divine!

We had an amazing time at Stef's wedding. The only thing was that it reminded us of how much work we have to do before our wedding on Saturday!
