Post-move thoughts
Geoff and I are finally settled into our new apt. Well, just about anyways! We still have to unpack several boxes (entirely Geoff's stuff!) and put up some decorations but mostly everything is done!
The move on Thurs went really well. We had so much help from my parents, Geoff's dad and sister Heather, a family friend Jerry who came with a 20-foot long flatbed truck, and Sandi and Leslie. We got virtually everything from 3 different locations (my house, Geoff's condo, and the storage place) and moved all of it into the apt. It was a daunting task but we did it! We couldn't have done it without help, so a huge thanks to everyone who helped out!! THANK YOU!!
I'm totally exhausted from all the unpacking, cleaning, laundry (6 simultaneous loads). Have to thank my friend Michelle for coming and organizing the bookshelves for me! And thankfully Geoff is around to do all the really hard stuff like moving the heavy boxes around and cooking for me!

congrats, ev! can't wait to see it! I'm home now, but I still have a paper due on Friday...so call me after that and we'll go have coffee (and visit your new place)!
Hmmm, some of those boxes *were* pretty damned heavy...
