Amazing lucky streak continues
I got some awesome news last week. The Calgary Herald called and told me I won a trip! After talking to the tour company (Anderson) it sounds like an amazing trip.
1 night Edmonton with passes to an Edmonton attraction
Via Rail pass to Jasper
1 night in Jasper with breakfast at the top of the Tramway, a float down the Athabasca River, and a bus tour of the parkway
1 night Banff, gondola and hotspring tickets
1 night Kananaskis Country and white-water rafting
1 night Calgary
This is definitely the coolest thing I've ever won! Since Geoff can't get that much time off work I decided to split the trip and give half of it to my parents. So my parents get the Edmonton -Jasper leg and Geoff and I are taking the Banff - Calgary portion. The deciding factors were that Jasper is booked for May long weekend and we think my parents might not enjoy white water rafting as much as we would. Hopefully Geoff and I will go on May long weekend since that's my last weekend in Calgary before leaving for Africa.
